DEL >< INS
2015–ongoing
Found and manipulated objects, dimensions variable
DEL >< INS (ENTF><EINFG) is an ongoing practice of collecting and assembling found, altered, or constructed objects, images, raw materials, text fragments, and computer keys. Displayed on tables, suspended boards, or shelves, the arrangement reveals a web of interrelated connections.
This method not only emphasizes material thinking but also frames collecting as a form of research. By assembling and juxtaposing elements, it investigates thematic intersections and uncovers latent relationships within the collection. A particular focus lies on deployable structures and folding mechanisms, which (mechanically) transition between states of minimal compactness and maximum extension.
