In the collaborative installation performance RESTRICTED SCENERIES # 01 Edith Kollath and Raman Zaya investigate mechanisms of separation and the ambivalent relationship between the passage-spaces of modern society and the movements taking place in it. Images or tableaux vivants are created in calm sequences by changing the formations of control systems and their interactions with passengers. They raise questions, pervade memories and accompany the visitor during his passage through a seemingly factual and yet shifted transit room.

»…Und mit „restricted sceneries #1“, einer Performance von Edith Kollath und Raman Zaya, für die eine Reihe weiblicher Komparsen bereitsteht, werden gleich einmal grundlegende Fragen zur Kunst gestellt: Wer hat Zugang, wer nicht, und geht es im Kunstbetrieb nicht ähnlich zu wie beim Einchecken am Flughafen, wo der Passagier schnell an die Grenzen seiner persönlichen Bewegungsfreiheit gerät und sich freiwillig den Vorgaben fügt?…«
